Privacy notice

This site is run by Charismatic Renewal Ministries (CRM) UK. For any question about this notice or your data, contact office@crmuk.org.

When you enter a postcode or choose “use my location”, that postcode or coordinate is sent to our server to work out which churches are nearest, and to a postcode look-up service (postcodes.io) if you entered a postcode rather than used your location. We do not store or log the postcode or location you searched with against you.

Cloudflare, who host this site, keep their own short-term technical request logs for every request to the site (as any web host does) — these can include the full web address you requested, which for this search includes the postcode or coordinate. That logging is Cloudflare’s standard operational logging, not something this application adds, and is outside our control to disable.

“Use my location” only runs if you actively choose it, and your browser asks your permission first.

The map of CRM churches loads map images (“tiles”) from OpenStreetMap, which will see your device’s IP address. These are never requested until you choose to show the map.

If you send us a message through the Contact page, we use your name, email address, and anything else you choose to give us (a telephone number, which church your message is about) only to reply to you. Your message is sent by email to office@crmuk.org through Resend, our email delivery provider — it is not stored in a database on this site. Whatever CRM UK’s own email retention practice is then applies, the same as for any email sent to that address directly.

To stop the form being used to send spam, we keep a short-lived record of how many messages have recently been sent from your connection; that record expires automatically and is never linked to your name or message.

This site can use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It does not use cookies and does not identify you individually. It only loads if you accept it when asked — declining, or not choosing, means it never runs for you.

A church leader’s name, photograph and biography are published only with that person’s own consent, recorded before publication. Anyone shown on this site in that capacity may ask for their profile to be removed at any time by contacting office@crmuk.org.

Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact office@crmuk.org to do any of these.

If how this site collects or uses personal data changes, this page changes with it.
